I’m a reporter for the Connecticut Mirror (www.ctmirror.org) and WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio (www.yourpublicmedia.org). I focus on energy, the environment, and transportation from my brand new office, known as the Fairfield County News Desk, at Fairfield University.
I fell in love with journalism as a reporting intern at The Blade in Toledo, OH. I then worked as an intern at the Dallas Morning News and the Boston Globe. Last year, I was a fellow for the Connecticut News Project, where I spent time as a reporter for the Mirror, WNPR, and the New Haven Independent.
Along with journalism, music has always been a big part of my life. In college I was a member of the Yale Glee Club and I’ve been playing the piano since I was six. My favorite musical artists include Brahms, Norah Jones, and Simon & Garfunkel.
